From the Founder
My name is Dr. Bishoy Samuel. I’m a dual ABMS board-certified physician in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine, with foundational training and experience in Internal Medicine, and a Master’s in Population Health Science.
For more than a decade I’ve worked in clinics, hospitals, private practice, and large non-profit systems.
I’ve also lived through the quiet erosion that stems from persistent exhaustion and burnout that nearly drove me out of medicine.
Except it didn’t.
Not only did I persist; I thrived. I earned flagship awards, published as first author, presented nationally, became conversational in a third language, and traveled extensively across six continents.
With time I discovered one common theme that kept echoing through all my experiences:
Real transformation never came from trying harder. It came when I finally stopped optimizing and started realigning.
ART Prevention is the culmination of my own journey: from surviving burnout through years of quiet erosion, moral injury, and hard-won resilience, to deep and lasting personal transformation.
This platform is the expression of a process I lived long before I could name it. I built it because I know what it costs to keep performing at a high level while something fundamental remains unaddressed. I also know that most of the standard offerings were never truly built for professionals who need something deeper and more precise.
If you’re a high-functioning physician, executive, or professional who appears successful on the outside but senses that your values, behaviors, or life systems are out of alignment, you’re in the right place.
Whether you’re stuck in quiet burnout, navigating ADHD or neurodivergence, recovering from moral injury or addiction, or simply ready for deeper, more sustainable change, this platform was made for you. Welcome.
I look forward to working with you.
